US to give drink containers closer look at airports

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. authorities are warning air travelers to expect greater scrutiny of thermoses and other insulated drink containers at security checkpoints after intelligence suggested they could be used to hide explosives.

Clinton vows to come back

SUBANG: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is so impressed with Malaysia that she vowed to return here before bidding “Malaysia-America Boleh”.

Clinton, who was visiting Malaysia for the first time, said she was so impressed with the development in Kuala Lumpur that she gave her personal guarantee that she would come to this country again.

“I know we have the determination, talent, and we have the deep ties between the two countries at the government-to-government, business-to-business and people-to-people levels,” Clinton said before heading to Papua New Guinea.

“The United States is Malaysia’s largest trading partner. Malaysia is the 15th largest trading partner for United States,” he said, adding that bilateral trade yielded US$40bil (RM124bil) and bilateral service trade yielded US$3.3bil (RM10.2bil). Read more at thestar.com.my
