Gobind Singh ejected from Parliament again
KUALA LUMPUR: Gobind Singh (DAP-Puchong) was ejected from Parliament Monday, the third time in two years.
Gobind was hitting out at Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein for dodging questions linked to the alleged interference by the the ministry in police matters, and also the involvement of the police in blocking the then Sultan of Kelantan Sultan Ismail Petra's convoy in May.
Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor) had earlier asked Hishammuddin to explain the police's action in blocking Sultan Ismail Petra's convoy, from which the Raja Perempuan Tengku Anis Tengku Hamid was hauled out.
"I will come back tomorrow, and I will ask the same questions again," said a defiant Gobind before leaving.

He noted that the country also had 55 private psychiatrists, but almost 45% of them were based in the Klang Valley.

Zaid quits race for PKR No 2, all party posts
PETALING JAYA: Datuk Zaid Ibrahim has quit the PKR deputy presidential race saying the party "leadership actively condone malpractices and electoral fraud to achieve its designed objectives."
Zaid also resigned as the party's political bureau member, Federal Territory chief and Wangsa Maju chief.
Earlier, PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail had denied claims of vote manipulation despite numerous complaints of irregularities during divisions as well as central party polls.
"I remain committed to the Opposition’s cause and will continue to speak about the issues of the common people.
"Finally, I hope those adoring fans of Anwar Ibrahim will no longer regard me as a “spoiler” standing in the way of their march to Putrajaya. I wish them well."

BN starting to strut their stuff
I think general election is really round the corner. BN is starting to "rattle" the opposition's supporters. Opposition need to work harder coz' talk on the streets is still disillusioned by the sincerity of BN leaders.

Muhyiddin: Barisan Nasional now 'back in business'
"Do not underestimate us because the BN is now back in business. We may have been rattled a little two years ago, but the BN is back in business.
Muhyiddin also urged Barisan leaders to meet the people often and resolve their problems.
Muhyiddin, who indicated that the next general election, due in 2013, would be held "soon", said the people would be the gauge for all the coalition's efforts and initiatives because they would determine whether the party would continue to be in power.

SYDNEY: Australian rugby league star Joel Monaghan is awaiting his fate after he admitted simulating a sex act with a dog in a drunken moment of "abject stupidity", further sullying the sport's image. Clinton vows to come back
SUBANG: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is so impressed with Malaysia that she vowed to return here before bidding “Malaysia-America Boleh”.
Clinton, who was visiting Malaysia for the first time, said she was so impressed with the development in Kuala Lumpur that she gave her personal guarantee that she would come to this country again.
“I know we have the determination, talent, and we have the deep ties between the two countries at the government-to-government, business-to-business and people-to-people levels,” Clinton said before heading to Papua New Guinea.
“The United States is Malaysia’s largest trading partner. Malaysia is the 15th largest trading partner for United States,” he said, adding that bilateral trade yielded US$40bil (RM124bil) and bilateral service trade yielded US$3.3bil (RM10.2bil).

Qantas plane makes emergency landing in S'pore after losing engine (Updated)
A Qantas spokesman in Sydney, Australia, said the A380 aircraft experienced an engine issue soon after taking off from Singapore on a flight to Sydney.
The plane had 433 passengers and 26 crew on board.
Qantas spokeswoman Emma Kearns said one of four engines on the plane flying from Singapore to Sydney shut down.
