Robbers flee with 100 live pigs
TAPAH: A consignment containing at least 100 live pigs was hijacked by three armed robbers in Bidor near here.
“Losses are estimated to be about RM83,000,” he said, adding that so far, no arrests has been made.
Supt Roslan said the lorry was later found abandoned in Pedas, Negri Sembilan, about 230km away, minus the pigs.
He urged those who come across people offering the livestock at below market price to contact the nearest police station.
